Personalisation
1 – User interface
Our product includes a web-based user interface, where citizens from different cities can enter their preferences, in the most user-friendly way possible.
Users of this interface can build a profile, select their mobility preferences and with this see relevant information for their journey. All modes are considered: public transport, bike, walking and car. This process is flexible and users can select what information they wish or wish not to see in the final dashboard.
The user-interface was built-up based on the findings of the initial end-user research and is going to be adapted with the feedback of citizens of City of Ghent.
2 – Operator platform interface
Similar to the user interface, the operator platform is interactive and user-friendly. However, the operator platform is focused on the needs of the cities’ traffic managers, displaying different and more relevant information for their role.
With the operator platform interface, cities that are using the platform can manage their preferences. In the beginning of the project, expectations and requirements of international traffic management centres that were translated into dashboard mock-ups. Therefore the items that are in this interface reflect the essential needs for traffic management.
